JUBILEE FUTURITY NOMINATION PROCEDURES Sire: 1. The stallion must be registered with the AMHA. 2. A fee of $100 must be paid on or before August 15, 2011, payment of which qualifies all 2011 foals sired by the stallion eligible for nomination into the Futurity. Weanling: 1. A fee of $50 must be paid on or before August 15, 2011 to be eligible to show. 2. Sire must be nominated to the Futurity for the year the foal is born. 4. A weanling year penalty fee of $25 will be assessed for each weanling nominated after December 31, 2011. Yearling: 1. A fee of $50 must be paid on or before August 15, 2011 in order to be eligible to show in the yearling division, or to keep the yearling eligible to compete in the futurity in subsequent years. 2. A yearling year penalty of $50 will be assessed for each yearling nominated after August 15, 2011. 3. Any yearling being nominated to the Futurity for the first time must also pay a stallion nomination fee of $100 if the stallion was not nominated in the year the yearling was born. 4. Any yearling being nominated to the futurity for the first time must pay the weanling nomination fee of $50, as well as a $25 penalty. Two Year Old: 1. A fee of $50 per class must be paid on or before August 15, 2011 in order to be eligible to show in the two year old division. If you do not wish to show your two year old, but wish to keep it eligible to participate in the futurity the following year, a minimum nomination fee of $50 applies. 2. A two year old year penalty of $100 will be assessed for each two year old nominated after August 15, 2011. 3. Any two year old being nominated to the Futurity for the first time must also pay stallion nomination fee of $100 if the stallion was not nominated in the year the two year old was born. 4. Any two year old being nominated to the futurity for the first time must also pay the weanling nomination fee of $50, as well as a $25 penalty, and the yearling nomination fee of $50 plus a $50 penalty, as well as the normal two year old nomination fees ($50 per class, no penalty if paid by July 15th). 5. Applicants in this division may choose to show in Park Harness, Pleasure Driving and/or Two Year Old Mares In Hand or Two Year Old Stallions/Geldings in Hand. Class numbers must also be entered on the Jubilee Horse Show entry form, although fees are to be paid with the Futurity nomination form, not the Show Entry form. Jubilee Show entries are due by July 16, 2011. HOW TO FIGURE BACK NOMINATIONS: Example #1: If you wish to show a yearling who was not nominated as a weanling and the sire was not nominated the year the foal was born, and you are sending your entries in prior to July 15, 2011, the following fees apply:
Example #2: If you wish to show a two year old who has never before been futurity nominated, but the sire was nominated the year the foal was born, and you are sending your entries in prior to July 15, 2011, the following fees apply:
Example #3: If you wish to show a two year old who has never before been futurity nominated, and the sire was not nominated the year the foal was born, and you are sending your entries in after August 15, 2011, the following fees apply:
Example #4: If you wish to show a two year old who was futurity nominated as a weanling, but missed the yearling year, and you are sending your entries in before August 15, 2011, the following fees apply:
The value of the Prize Fund of the Futurity each year will be the total of monies paid in nomination fees and added donations, less operating expenses and promotion. Each year, the cost of specific awards will be deducted from the Prize Fund among the four regular divisions of the Futurity. The remaining funds not awarded will be paid back to winners as a bonus in championship classes.
All nomination fees from the current year will be divided equally among the four age groups for distribution. Prize money will be distributed over six placings, with the remaining two placings receiving ribbons only. The payback percentages for the classes are listed below:
In the event a class does not fill down to sixth place, the leftover premium money will be placed into a bonus fund, which will be redistributed to all placing horses in the current year's futurity using these same percentages above. No entry is liable for more than the amount paid in, but there will be no return of payment unless the showing of the Futurity is cancelled in any or all divisions. The Jubilee Morgan Horse Breeders Futurity is not liable for any accidents, theft or losses incurred as a result of participation in the Futurity.
Payment of Futurity Fees are to be made to the Jubilee Morgan Horse Breeders Futurity and sent to the Futurity Secretary on or before August 15, 2011 or Post Entry Rules and Fees will apply. All eligible Futurity entries must be made on the official Jubilee Regional Championship Morgan Horse Show entry blank and submitted to the Show Secretary by July 16, 2011 to avoid Post Entry Rules and Fees. Entries submitted to the Jubilee Show Secretary will be verified by the Futurity Secretary based on nominations received on or before August 15, 2011. POST ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS:
2011 PRIZE MONEY TO BE AWARDED Prize monies to be awarded within 30 days of closing date of show.
